DOSSIER

What this entry covers

An eclectic band of fantasy adventurers - a Warrior, Thief, Wizard, Bard, Cleric and Druid - runs a local moving company. Each hero has one distinct action for manipulating objects, and the realm is designed around switching between them mid-puzzle. The stated design intent is to treat the party like a Swiss Army Knife: pushing to clear lanes, pulling to move objects, teleporting past blockades.

PROTOCOL CHAIN

How to work this entry

01 STEP

Before moving anything, name what each hero in the party can do. The puzzle is usually gated on one specific ability, not on raw pushing power.

02 STEP

Push clears a lane; pull repositions a block without changing its line. Choosing the wrong one of the two is the most common way to make a level unsolvable.

03 STEP

Teleporting is for crossing a blockade, not for reaching a distant goal. Use it to get the party to the far side, then solve with the ordinary verbs.

04 STEP

Look for chain setups: the intended solution frequently requires hero A to move an object into a position that only then makes hero B's action meaningful.
